The problem
Generating a page is easy to demonstrate. Keeping its working interactions intact while revising, editing, saving, and exporting it is the harder problem.
What was built
- A local studio with responsive previews, direct text editing, a source editor, saved versions, and portable single-page HTML exports.
- AI revisions using uniquely matched source replacements, preserving the rest of the document.
- Isolated previews, atomic persistence, stale-write protection, and recovery when a generation request fails.
What I learned
Small, exact source changes are easier to validate than replacing a whole working document. Preview isolation and version history make experimentation recoverable.
